9/2/10-Local Red Cross Volunteer, Laurel Goforth, has left for Boston, MA, where hurricane Earl is expected to hit over Labor Day weekend. There she plans to assist with public information and public affairs at a Red Cross command site for relief efforts in North Carolina.
